As you can see, this is a Brazilian website, and we are proud to receive your visit wherever you came from. Since our main goal is to provide information in Portuguese, this website's Portuguese version is much more complete today. There are many sources in English (you can see some in LINKS), so the brief introduction pages found on the Portuguese version are not available in English. If you are a beginner, you can easily find information about the basics in that websites shown in "Links" section. This website was made for scholars and researchers, Mayanists in general that can handle the Maya calendar converter tool provided by Projeto CMAIA (CMAIA Project). The tool is a contribution from Brazil to the whole world, saying "hello" to the scholarly and Mayanist community, hoping that Brazil and Portuguese-speaking nations can be recognized as part of this community.
